Specialists in their field, kingpins in AKWEL’S areas of expertise, linchpins of its effectiveness, the group’s business units are at the very heart of its industrial performance.

“I joined AKWEL in 1998 as a quality engineer. In 2013, having held various positions, I was promoted to QSE Manager². My job is to be the customer’s eyes in the plant. I have to ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring that all the parts produced comply with the quality standards of the group and of its customers. I’m very proud of having rolled out the QSE² system on the Orizaba site: the system guarantees everyday discipline based on a robust process and relevant indicators. Since we introduced this system, our results have been steadily improving. “

“I have been Plant Director since 1999. I am passionate about my job. My job consists of managing a site as if I was managing a small business: it’s a job that constantly offers new challenges, both in terms of manufacture and quality as well as human resources management. On an everyday basis, I listen to and learn from my managers at the plant, who are all experts, so I can reach the best decision, and I try to set an example. This approach has proved successful for 22 years: I have turned the Orizaba plant into a stable and profitable site with a high level of quality, and I recently managed and planned the construction of the new plant just next door, in Ixtaczoquitlan. I can see myself working till I retire at AKWEL, a multinational that knows how to rely on its multiculturalism, entrusting management of its plants to locals. “

“After early experience as a service-provider in the automotive and aeronautics industry and 2 years in China, I wanted to continue working globally. Joining AKWEL, I started as Project Manager then Methods Manager before being appointed Product Lines Manager. My job is divided between team management and development. What really motivates me is tackling challenges every day. This motivation, combined with my skills, has made me the first female Product Lines Manager! “

“After studying mechanical and industrial engineering in France then at an American university, I began my career in the US. I joined AKWEL in 2008 as Foreign Manufacturer Project Manager, to work with Ford in the US and Mexico. Today, my job consists of promoting Fuel and Control products, to support our clients’ sales departments. I’m also the contact for clients during the consultation and pilot phases: I assemble a list of their requirements and transform them into technical solutions and business opportunities for the group. Apart from the global advantage, this is a family group with recognised know-how, enjoying excellent financial health, and armed with a long-term vision. There’s a great atmosphere here, and the multitude of product lines and sites are all opportunities for collaboration and development. ”

“I joined AKWEL in 2013 as part of my engineering studies. This journey through learning was essential for me to really learn the job. So I took advantage of the opportunity of this position of an apprentice quality engineer in the Automotive plastics manufacturing company, the sector known for its rigor. I have evolved to be the engineer I am today. One of the major requirements of my profession is industrialization of products. I am responsible for developing new fully robotic manufacturing processes. It is exciting, we are continuously innovating to develop ever more complex robot cells.”
