Main responsibilities and duties :

• Responsible for conducting the design process and developing new products based on the standards, specifications, and QCD objectives
• Oversee and validate the product design in compliance with business rules
• Manages the functional analysis and product failure mode analysis
• Formalizes the design requirements to suppliers
• Presents adopted technical solutions
• Establish design office plan and budget ensuring the product design conformity with specifications and customer’s expectations
• Maintain and develop the knowledge and expertise within the assigned area of responsibility
• The position will provide support to the Sales and Product Line Department to ensure the success of Customer programs.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field plus 24 months experience in mechanical engineering environment
• Requires knowledge of rubber and plastic part design and manufacturing processes including extrusion, curing, forming and hot air fixtures
• Experience with SAP
