MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE

Apprenticeship (4 years)

Main responsibilities and duties :

  • As the Maintenance Technician you will be working with the multi skilled (both electrical and mechanical skills) maintenance team to ensure operational readiness and reliability of all production equipment.
  • You will be carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance work, ensuring equipment availability for the production activity.
  • You will be using your mechanical and electrical skills gained through your studies to work on a variety of continuous improvement initiatives, for example, optimising safety conditions, quality and reducing production costs.
  • You will also have the opportunity to get involved in industrial production process in regards to the installations of the new equipment and take part in process development.
  • You will also have an opportunity to develop further specialist skills including Robotics.

Requirements :

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs, or equivalent qualification, at Grade 4 (C) or above

Salary: £269 per week
