Apprenticeship (4 years)

Main responsibilities and duties :

  • As the Process Technician you will be working with fellow process technicians and engineers in a variety of teams not only across the Birmingham plant but also internationally.
  • You will play an active role in defining and/or changing the manufacturing processes.
  • You will be responsible for drawing up specifications related to equipment and processes integrating various standrads, organising tests, analysing the results, conducting approval of production equipment and processes, maintaining technical data of the processes.
  • You will be using your mechanical and electrical skills gained through your studies to work on a variety of continuous improvement initiatives, for example, optimising manufacturing processes, elimination of wastes etc.
  • You will also have an opportunity to develop further specialist skills including Robotics.

Requirements :

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs, or equivalent qualification, at Grade 4 (C) or above

Salary: £269 per Week
