The AKWEL site in Saint Just (Spain) celebrates its 100th anniversary!

On February 20, AKWEL’s Saint Just site in Spain celebrated its 100th anniversary. On this occasion, the site’s teams brought together within AKWEL Saint Just several representatives of local authorities, of our customers, the president of AKWEL, the present and past managers and collaborators of the site (some families are involved for several generations!).

This shared moment allowed us to look back on 100 years of history, but also to discover the actual site and its 8000m² dedicated to rubber processing. In 2019, it produced and delivered more than 20 million parts, all functions combined (fuel supply, air intake, cooling, etc.) to its car manufacturer customers (Renault-Nissan, Jaguar Land Rover, PSA) and trucks manufacturer customers (Volvo, Daimler, Scania).
