2018 Supplier Quality Excellence Award for AKWEL CADILLAC USA INC. by General Motors

On October 11, 2019, the Cadillac facility was awarded the “2018 Supplier Quality Award” by General Motors (GM) for their outstanding performance on the A1XX program. The A1XX is the vehicle platform in which GM produces the Cadillac CTS and ATS, along with the Chevrolet Camaro.

To win the award, the facility must be best in class in all scorecard criteria. The focus of the CAD team on this launch was recognized by GM and to show appreciation, the GM Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer, Bill BURKE presented the award on-site in CAD to the team.
