The AKWEL whistleblowing procedure details the terms and conditions of the professional whistleblowing system implemented by the Group as part of its ethical approach and its duty of care as a parent company.

The Alert System must be implemented in the event of reports of :

• a crime or misdemeanor,
• a threat or harm to the public interest,
• a violation or attempted concealment of a violation of an international commitment duly ratified or approved by France, or of a unilateral act of an international organization taken on the basis of such a commitment,
• a violation or attempted concealment of a violation of a law or regulation,
• a breach of AKWEL’s Code of Ethics,
• a breach of AKWEL’s Anti-Corruption & Anti-Influence Trading Code, insofar as this is likely to constitute corruption or influence trading,
• a risk or serious infringement of human rights and fundamental freedoms, the health and safety of individuals or the environment, resulting from the activities of the AKWEL Group, as well as from the activities of its subcontractors or suppliers when these activities are related to this relationship.

By way of example, a Report could concern fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest, financial offences, anti-competitive practices, discrimination and harassment in the workplace, occupational health and safety, environmental protection and human rights.
